The results of the workshop “openCost: the road to publication cost transparency” have now been published as Conference Proceedings.
As of this spring, the new journal categories have been available in the EZB. These journal categories can be used as additional filter criteria.
The results of the openCost online discussions with the community
DESY is delivering its cost data like almost 400 other institutions to the internationally renowned OpenAPC initiative now.
openCost is present at various conferences and congresses to introduce the project and to present and discuss new project results.
The openCost project team is hosting three online events via Zoom to discuss the recently released metadata schema for recording and mapping cost data with the community. We hereby invite all interested parties to participate in the discussion.
The openCost team is publishing a draft metadata schema for capturing cost data as an RFC and is soliciting feedback from the community.
The results of the openCost Hands-on Lab, which took place during the 8th German Library Congress, have now been published in a detailed report in the latest O-Bib issue.
The project team presented its first results at the openCost workshop. In addition, (inter)national experts contributed their experiences with publication fees and cost recording.
From 5 to 7 October 2022, we will be hosting the expert workshop “openCost: the road to publication cost transparency” at the Deutsches Elektronen-Sychrotron (DESY) in Hamburg, to which we cordially invite interested parties.
